Get A Natural High with Sacred Geometry!

  • Create your own mandala: Mandalas have a magical way of centering our minds while transporting us out of our "normal" reality. Mandalas are often made up of precise sacred geometric patterns filled with wonderful and varied colors. Here's what you'll need:

    1. Colored pencils, crayons, paints, or watercolors.

    2. A ruler, compass, and a few pine cones.

    3. Several sheets of large blank paper.

On your paper, begin to experiment creating different geometric patterns and filling them in with your favorite colors. The pine cone will help you if you feel "stuck". You have lots of extra paper so allow yourself to experiment freely. Drawing circles with a compass is a little tricky at first but you'll get the hang of it.

Note: If nothing else, did your awe of Mother Nature's ability to create such effortless geometric patterns in flowers, plants, and rocks grow?

  • Sacred Walk:  Take time out of your day to enjoy this natural high. All you have to do is walk around your town with your eyes wide open - perhaps wider than ever before, and do the following:

    1. Pretend as if someone took your brain out of your head and dropped you in this new land.

    2. Walk around as if it were the first time you were seeing the trees that line the streets and the little flowers growing here and there.

    3. Take your time and actually bend down and look into the flowers and notice how the petals are placed in geometric patterns.

    4. Pretend as if you were looking at the work of an artist and that you wanted to get inside of the artist's mind to think what they were thinking and feel what they were feeling when they created that flower.

Note. How did you feel throughout your walk? Was it different to be so aware of the 'ordinary'? We would love to hear from you, so feel free to write us.
