In the far, hard to reach corners of the world, people have heard about Gilroy's annual garlic festival. Not enough can be said about the garlic ice cream, coffee, and brownies. My grandmother has lived in the same house in Gilroy ever since she left Croatia and settled in the promised land. The climate is incredible, and so are her generous neighbors. At 90 years of age, she lives alone and has the full support of her neighborhood.
